About Small port of Canovella de' Zoppoli
The current beach of Canovella de 'Zoppoli has been for centuries a place where the Karst farmers and fishermen repaired the sturdy typical boats carved out of a single log of wood: the limps. Now it is instead a small port where you can enjoy unspoiled nature, a stony beach, clear water, a refreshment point and showers. To reach the beach you have to go along the ancient fishermen's path that starts from Aurisina, or from the coastal road, and from here go down for about three hundred steps that pass through a landscape that has remained unchanged over time, consisting of terraces and vineyards.
