About DARSENA PORTO VECCHIO-Porto Lignano
Born in 1986 as a natural shelter and fishing port, it is in chronological order the first tourist port of Lignano Sabbiadoro, a complex today rich in services and capable of managing over 6,000 transits per year. It enjoys a privileged position, in the city center, overlooking the splendid naturalistic oasis of the Marano Lagoon, sheltered from the bora and sirocco winds and very convenient for going out to sea. Awarded the Blue Flag, it hosts the “Lignano Boat Show” every year, an event dedicated to pleasure boating. It is the seat of the Local Maritime Office of Lignano Sabbiadoro. The Porto Vecchio Dock was the first marina in the history of the Friuli tourist destination. Created as a natural shelter and port for fishermen, over the years it developed into permanent facilities and services, until it became a modern tourist port. Its location in the town centre makes it a favoured mooring spot because of the technical services available to users, its vicinity to the shops and local services and also because of its tranquillity, making it a real peace haven. In fact it looks out over Marano Lagoon, a protected area and nature reserve. Porto Vecchio Dock is able to moor boats of up to 16 metres long and is equipped with 22 floating jetties and fingers with fresh water and power supply points. There is also a technical zone that, using a crane that is able to lift up to 20 tonnes, makes it possible to haul, launch and move boats. Advantages FVG Marinas Card 50% on the mooring fee for 3 days of rest.
