About Luka Posedarje
The port of Posedarje covers 96,648 m 2, of which the area of the land part is 4,298 m 2, and the area of the sea part is 92,350 m 2. Luka Posedarje is located on the northwestern side of the Novograd Sea. The port is small and is mainly intended for the mooring of local vessels. It is well protected from northerly and westerly winds, but is open to southerly winds and gales, which cause high waves in the harbor. It is possible to moor the vessel laterally to the fortified shore in front of the pier. When sailing, we must be careful of all the ropes with which the natives have their vessels moored a good meter or two from the shore, because of the waves caused by southerly winds and gales. When sailing towards the port, we must also be careful of the shallows around the island of Školj Veli.
