ACI marina Cres, a beautiful and large marina with numerous contents and winner of various awards, is located just a few minutes on foot from the center of Cres. ACI marina Cres has been awarded the prize “Tourist Flower – Quality for Croatia” for the second place in 2009 and 2010 for the category of the best marina on the Adriatic. In 2011, it was declared the best marina in the category over 450 berths, while in 2013 it was awarded the prize for the third place in the same category. The marina is also the proud winner of the Blue Flag. The “Nautical Patrol” of Jutarnji list declared ACI marina Cres the dearest marina according to sailors’ choice in 2017. Approach Cres harbour is approached through a 400m-wide channel. Landmarks on approach are provided by lighthouses on Cape Kovačine (Fl (2) R 6s 9m 8M) and Cape Križice (Fl G 3s 9m 4M). The exact position of the Cape Kovačine lighthouse is 44°57.6’ N 14°23.7’ E. On entering the channel between these two lighthouses the Cape Melin lighthouse (Fl R 3s 6m 3M ) is clearly visible. There is an underwater rock in its immediate vicinity and a distance of at least 50m from the cape should be maintained. The entrance to ACI Marina Cres is marked by harbour lights. There is a red light on the breakwater head (Fl (2) R 5s 7m 3M), and a green light on Martinski Islet (Fl (2) G 5s 7m 3M). From Cape Kovačine to the marina the speed limit is 5 knots; within the marina the speed limit is 2 knots.

This island of wonderful natural diversity and gorgeous beaches, rich in history and cultural monuments dating to before the Romans, has not one, but two ACI marinas – Rab and Supetarska Draga. ACI Marina Rab is an ornament of its namesake town, Rab Island’s largest population centre and the focus for its culture, education and art, all fostered here for centuries. The marina is located in the town harbour and offers a plethora of amenities to boaters, from a restaurant to a maintenance and repairs shop. The island’s interior is just as impressive as its coast: as much as 35 percent of Rab is forest and fertile land, making it the second greenest Croatian island, behind Mljet. Approach From the sea the town of Rab is recognisable by its town walls and four bell towers. Rab harbour can be approached by sailing between Cape Frkanj, with a red lighthouse (Fl R 2s 5m 4M) and Frkanj Shoal, marked with a green lighthouse on a concrete pediment (Fl G 2s 6m 4M). The exact position of Frkanj Shoal is 44°44.9’ N 14°45.5’ E. It is also possible to round the shoal on the southeast. The harbour entrance is marked by a red lighthouse on Cape Sv. Ante (Fl R 1,5s 7m 3M) and a green lighthouse on Tunera Islet (Fl G 2s 14m 4M). Due to the presence of shallows in the vicinity of Tunera it is recommended to sail closer to the red lighthouse. ACI Marina Rab is located in Rab Bay extending southeast-northwest. The marina is protected by a breakwater with a green lighthouse (Fl G 1,5s 7m 4M) on its head. During strong jugo (south) winds it is not recommended to moor in the town harbour. The speed limit in the entrance channel is 3 knots for all vessels. The western ends of the marina’s piers are lit.

Sports preparation and instruction In order to achieve the best possible results in competitions, our sports section organizes trainings, runs a fishing school and trains the youngest ages for great results. Sports recreation Most of our members hunt recreationally. The most important tools they use are longlines, pots, pans and squid fishing, and hunting from a boat and from the mainland. Water and sea protection We pay great attention to environmental protection and clean sea. We carry out many activities related to ecology, and we teach young people not to throw anything into the sea. Management of sports facilities In addition to the main building, which houses the club's secretariat and cafe, we also maintain the oldest fishing houses on the Adriatic, protected by UNESCO, and we have a small building where we maintain a fishing school. Self-construction of vessels, equipment and accessories Our society supports the self-construction of vessels and the preservation of traditional boats. Small fishing port The port area consists of the coastal land part and the associated water area. By transferring the borders of the port area to the cadastral plan, it follows that the land part of the port area consists of the cadastral parcels of KO Cres, namely: 5296 part, 2652 part, 2055 part, 2056 part, 2390 part and 3773 part. The ownership of the plots is registered as public property - coast and roads. The port consists of an operational main wharf, an operational waterfront, protective wharves (eastern and western), quays for boats and a plateau for servicing boats. The operational main pier is 120 meters long, 12 meters wide, 4 to 7 meters deep along the pier, and has the capacity to moor 2 large ships or more small ones, depending on the size. The operational coast is 65 meters long, with a depth of 3.5 to 4 meters along the coast and the capacity to moor 1 large or 3 smaller ships. The protective piers (eastern and western) are 20 and 70 meters long, respectively. On the inside, they are used for mooring boats, while the outside is used to protect the water area and seasonally moor boats. The shores for mooring boats have a total length of 550 meters, a depth of 1 to 3 meters and a mooring capacity including protective jetties for 240 boats. The boat servicing platform is 500 m 2 in size . The operational main wharf, the operational shore, the protective wharves and the shores for boats are of massive stone and concrete construction and are in relatively good condition for use. The operational main wharf, especially its surface made of stone pavement, is in a state of disrepair due to the time of use and access by heavy vehicles. The harbor is equipped with mooring devices, a harbor light and a 3-ton crane for boats. Furthermore, the port is connected to the road, water supply, electricity and telephone. In the immediate vicinity there is a shipyard and a fuel supply station.

The port of Opatija-mooring Ičići covers an area of ​​31,116 m 2 , of which 3,575 m 2 is land and 27,541 m 2 sea area. The harbor consists of an operational wharf and a protective wharf, a breakwater and shores for mooring vessels approx. 130 m long. The operational wharf is 24 m long, 3 m deep along the coastal wall, and has the capacity to moor 2 smaller vessels. The protective jetty has the function of protecting the water area, mooring boats and is 20 m long. The breakwater has the function of protecting the water area, and the inner side is used for the mooring of vessels. It was built from a 200-meter long stone thrower. The shores for mooring vessels are of the type of massive coastal walls with a total length of 200 meters and a depth of 1.5 meters. The port is equipped with devices for mooring vessels and a slipway for vessels. The port has a communal part of the port for mooring vessels with a capacity of 154 berths and 13 nautical berths. It has a connection to the road, water supply and electricity. By the decision of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, and with the prior consent of the Government of the Republic of Croatia due to the particular economic interest of the Republic of Croatia, in 1999 the Opatija - Lovran - Mošćenička Draga County Port Authority was established for 10 ports: Preluk, Volosko, Dražica, Opatija, Portić, Ičići , Ika, Lovran, Medveja and Mošćenička Draga, with the aim of managing, using and building ports of county and local significance.

The port of Lovran covers an area of ​​45,893 m 2, of which 3,737 m 2 is land and 42,156 m 2 sea area. The port consists of an operational and protective jetty and operational shores (northern, southern and eastern) and moorings for vessels. The operational and protective jetty is 60 meters long, with a depth of 3 to 4.5 meters along the coastal wall. The outer part of the jetty has the protective function of a system of stone throwers (scholars). The operational northern shore, 13 m + 18 m long, with a depth of 4 to 5 meters along the coastal wall, is also used as a protective jetty at the port entrance. The operational southern coast is 60 m long, with a depth of 4 to 5 meters along the coastal wall. The coast is exposed to the action of the sea without natural and artificial protection (offshore). The operational eastern coast is 60 m long, with a depth of 4 to 6 meters along the coastal wall. The coast is exposed to the sea without natural or artificial protection. Part of the harbor-berth for vessels, total length 135 meters, depth along the coastal wall 0.6 to 2 meters. Then a protective jetty 50 meters long, a working level of 120 m 2 and a small protective jetty at the entrance 7 meters long. The port has a communal part of the port for mooring vessels, with a capacity of 77 berths. The port is equipped with mooring devices, harbor lights, a crane for boats with a capacity of 3 tons and a slipway for boats, road traffic, water supply, electricity. Within the port, there is an eco-container for receiving waste oil in a visible place. The city's urban environment offers all the necessary service standards.

Port of Opatija - passenger port + mooring Dražica covers an area of ​​1,622,724 m 2 of which 7,497 m 2 is land and 1,615,227 m 2 sea area. The port consists of a 110 m operational quay for boarding and disembarking passengers in international traffic, a 50 m + 60 m + 30 m + 15 m + 60 m operational quay for the purpose of loading and unloading domestic passengers for supplying fuel to vessels 34 m in length. Port of Opatija has 43 nautical moorings, of which 37 are at the nautical anchorage, as well as the anchorage for accepting larger passenger ships. The anchorage is located in front of the harbor and is defined by points: A 45°20´43´´N 14°19´44´´E B 45°20´20´´N 14°20´22´´E C 45°19´45´´N 14°19´42´´E D 45°19´59´´N 14°19´11´´E E 45°20´17´´N 14°19´14´´E All parts-objects of the port are of massive stone and concrete construction and are in good condition for use. The port of Opatija with the mooring Dražica has a communal part of the port for the mooring of vessels with a capacity of 212 berths. The port of Opatija has a pier for tenders and barcarioles, as well as a parking lot. The harbor is equipped with devices for mooring vessels, a harbor light, a crane for vessels with a capacity of five tons and a smaller manual crane for vessels, as well as a small slipway for vessels as well as storage for tools. The port is also connected to the road, water supply, electricity and telephone. Garbage containers and eco warehouses are located in a visible place within the port along with an eco container for waste oil, an eco container for old batteries and an eco container for used and oily rags. Accommodation in the city provides all other services of a higher standard. The Dražica mooring, which is located next to the port of Opatija itself, consists of a breakwater approx. 20 m long and shores for the mooring of vessels from one to two meters, it functions as a defence of the harbor waters and is used for the mooring of boats. It is of massive construction type, made of stone and concrete, and is in good condition for use. The port also consists of communal moorings used by the local population.
