Fishing and boating in Islamorada: Ragged Edge Resort & Marina is a paradise for boaters. Located on the edge of the Atlantic, with access to the open ocean, the harbour features a protective seawall with a U-shaped docking area and all the amenities you seek when time on the water is part of your vacation plans. Information about the marina, boating, and fishing for guests: Due to the latitude and the beautiful warm weather in Florida, there are some things to keep in mind. The sun is very strong, even during the winter months. Tides affect launching and boating. Fishing and boating in Islamorada are unforgettable when our resort is your home port. The private marina features freshwater hoses, electrical hookups, a fish cleaning station, ice for sale, a bait freezer, as well as dock carts and coolers available for use. Caution should be exercised when entering or exiting the channel into the harbour. Boats with a draft of up to 3 1/2 feet should be able to navigate the channel up to 3 hours before and after high tide. The channel may be navigable by shallow-draft vessels during low tide with extreme caution to avoid running aground. For any assistance, call: 305.852.5389.
