About Pelican Harbor Marina

Pelican Harbor is a marina that offers a perfect blend of convenience and natural beauty for boaters. Situated conveniently within the town, it provides easy access to both the vibrant Intracoastal Waterway, lined with fantastic shopping and dining options, and the open sea, accessible via the nearby Haulover Inlet or Government Cut. One of the standout features of Pelican Harbor is its proximity to Pelican Island, a picturesque 10-acre nature preserve and bird sanctuary located just 400 yards offshore. This island offers a serene escape, with covered picnic shelters, barbecue grills, picnic tables, and even a sand volleyball court (though you'll need to bring your own net and ball). The island is open to the public and can also be reserved for larger groups, making it an ideal spot for gatherings or simply a peaceful day out. For boaters, Pelican Harbor offers a range of amenities to enhance your experience. The marina monitors VHF Channel 16/Working Channel 68 and accepts reservations. It accommodates vessels up to 50 feet in length and provides boat launching ramps, electricity (up to 50 Amps), a fish cleaning area, freshwater hookups, non-ethanol gas, diesel fuel, pump-out services, and restrooms with showers. Additionally, there is a sailboat mooring field and dinghy dock available, though these require reservations. Pelican Harbor has a total of 112 slips, including 10 transient slips for visiting boaters. The dock type is fixed, and the approach and dockside depth are both 6.0 feet. Whether you're looking for a short stay or a longer visit, Pelican Harbor welcomes transient boaters and offers a comfortable and scenic base for your boating adventures.
