Townsite Marina is Nanaimo’s premier marina, located at the entrance to Newcastle Channel, part of the spectacular waterfront that defines the Harbour City. Townsite Marina offers the discerning boater the best-maintained, 205-slip marina in Newcastle Channel, with a full-time on-site Marina Manager contributing to our safe and secure facility. Townsite Marina’s location in beautiful Nanaimo allows convenient access to some of the most spectacular and scenic cruising destinations of eastern Vancouver Island. Townsite Marina is conveniently located, highly accessible and features affordable rates that compare favourably to marinas in both Vancouver and Victoria. Townsite Marina offers monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual moorage for vessels ranging in size from 12 to 70 feet. The marina has metered 30 and 50 amp power. Coin operated showers and laundry facilities are also available onsite. Storage lockers located in a heated and secure building have 24 hour access. Ample parking for marina patrons is available in our underground parking parkade. Townsite Marina is accessed through security gates and is monitored by video surveillance cameras.
