About MK Bay Marina
Located at the head of the Douglas Channel, near the community of Kitimat and on traditional Haisla First Nation territory, we are focused on servicing mariners who enjoy the ocean in this beautiful area. Fishing is a major driver of the marina and fish come right into the harbor during peak season. Kitimat’s best fishing season is from June to September, where you can catch Spring Salmon, Pinks, Steelhead, Chum, Coho, and Winter Springs. Crab, Halibut, and Cod can be caught locally all year. We provide free Wi-Fi, laundry and shower facilities. We offer long term and short term moorage. Our store sells ice, food, and a wide variety of tackle and boating supplies. There is a boat launch on site. We are in the early steps of improving the marina and look forward to adding fish processing to our list of services. Plan to stop by, launch your boat, book a charter, go for a fish or simply enjoy the view.
