About Mackay Marina Village & Shipyard
Gateway to the Southern Whitsundays Located in Mackay, North Queensland, Mackay Marina Village is more than just a marina—it’s a thriving waterfront community and the perfect starting point for exploring the Southern Whitsundays. Recognised twice as Marina of the Year, we are proud to hold both Clean Marina Certification and the distinction of being the only Queensland marina with Fish-Friendly Status, reflecting our commitment to the environment and marine life. Berths & Facilities Our world-class marina has over 400 berths designed to accommodate a wide range of vessels, from 10m mono-hulls to 55m multi-hulls. Whether you’re stopping overnight or planning a longer stay, we provide secure, modern facilities and friendly service to make your visit comfortable and stress-free. Lifestyle & Community Mackay Marina Village offers more than moorings—it’s a destination in itself. Within the precinct you’ll find accommodation options, a vibrant selection of cafés, restaurants, and bars, as well as a variety of shops and services. The Residential Village features stylish townhouses and apartments, creating a warm community atmosphere where locals and visitors come together. Every corner is filled with people ready to share stories of their adventures at sea, making it a welcoming hub for sailors and travelers alike. Port of Entry & Biosecurity As an official Port of Entry, we work closely with Australian Border Force and Biosecurity officers to ensure all vessels meet health and safety regulations. Before berthing, arriving yachts must complete customs, immigration, and biosecurity clearance. Please visit the Australian Government Biosecurity website for detailed requirements, fees, and information. Note: Biosecurity waste (such as food and restricted items) must be surrendered on arrival. Disposal fees are charged to the vessel as we are invoiced for their safe removal. Once cleared by the relevant authorities, you will be guided to your berth. Contact & Support Our office is open daily from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and our team is ready to assist with forms, clearance preparation, or any questions ahead of your arrival. We recommend contacting us in advance by phone or email so we can make your check-in process as smooth as possible.
