Fripp Island Marina

On Old House Creek, there is a full-service marina called Fripp Island Marina. The Intracoastal Waterway is only a few miles away from the marina. Within thirty minutes' drive away, Beaufort, South Carolina, was included in Outdoor Life Magazine's second annual list of 200 communities nationwide, ranking as the 108th best town for sportsmen in its June/July 2009 edition. Beaufort was ranked second among the top fishing towns in America with fewer than 100,000 residents by Field & Stream Magazine in 2008. Beaufort was dubbed "a saltwater paradise" by the magazine, which also said that you couldn't expect to fish all the flats and inshore choices for redfish, seatrout, and even tarpon in one lifetime.
