About White Wharf Harbour
White Wharf is a historic and community-focused harbor facility located on the northern part of Bearskin Neck in Rockport, Massachusetts. It serves as one of the four harbors managed by the Rockport Harbormaster Department, alongside Rockport Harbor, Granite Pier, and Pigeon Cove . Facilities: White Wharf includes a 220-foot granite wharf and a marina with approximately 30 slips. It provides water access suitable for launching at all tides, making it convenient for various boating activities Public Access: The wharf offers public amenities such as a gangway to floats for launching small boats. There are about eight "resident sticker only" parking spaces for cartop boat users, located approximately 50 yards from the water access point . Seasonal Operations: Floats at White Wharf are typically installed in May and removed in mid-October, aligning with the boating season Management and Regulations The Rockport Harbormaster Department oversees operations at White Wharf. They enforce mooring regulations, which include specifications for mooring gear and requirements for mooring buoy identification For transient vessels, it's recommended to contact the Rockport Harbormaster in advance to inquire about availability and regulations.
