The lake is 316 feet deep at its deepest point, with a mean depth of 101 feet and is 12 miles long. The size of the lake makes it great for both fishing and water sports of all kinds. Game fish that can be found in the lake include land locked salmon, smelt, lake trout, brook trout, brown trout, smallmouth bass, and largemouth bass.
