About Bord du Lac Marina
The Bord du Lac Marina is situated on the eastern shore of Lake Charles, on the southern part of the reclamation buildout. It is a transient facility that offers 38 boat slips equipped with water and electrical utilities. The marina is conveniently located on the grounds of the Lake Charles Civic Center, which is situated on the beautiful Lake Charles. The Lakefront Promenade provides a scenic walkway for a brisk jog or relaxing stroll. The Civic Center hosts many events throughout the year, including the Contraband Days Pirate Festival, Mardi Gras, and the Marshland Festival, just to name a few. To enter Lake Charles from Calcasieu River, you need to center your boat between markers 122 and 122A. The marina lights are steady red and flashing yellow.
