About Weymouth Marina
Weymouth is a seaside resort town with a small commercial harbour, on the south coast of England. It's historic and picturesque quays offer a range of pontoon berths, and in fine weather it is possible to anchor immediately outside in the bay. Weymouth offers good protection but swell can run up the outer harbour in strong easterly and north-easterly winds. In such conditions, the separately covered and more protected Weymouth Marina, located immediately upriver, may have visitors' berths that offer complete protection. Safe access is available night or day, at any stage of the tide and in all reasonable conditions. Small, yet perfectly formed, Weymouth Marina is a summer holiday destination and a safe haven on a winter's cruise.
