Wat Tyler Country Park Marina is located at the end of Pitsea Creek in the picturesque Essex marshland on the northern shore of the Thames estuary. Access to Pitsea Creek is via Holehaven Creek at the western tip of Canvey Island Usable depth of water in Pitsea Creek Max depth of creek at high water 6.1 metres (20 feet). Most boats between 6.1 metres (20 feet) and 9 metres (30 feet approx) can get in and out of moorings 2.0 hrs either side of high tide. Some can do it at 3 hrs either side. Height restrictions Tidal barrier at the entrance to Vange Creek will restrict height of passing vessels to about 9 metres (30 feet approx) . Visitor moorings are normally available.
