Very old Royal harbour. One of the original five Cinque ports. The outer harbour is very well protected and an inner harbour is more for resident berth holders. Royal Temple Yacht Club is good for a beer as well as lots of cute tavernas along the harbour side as well as the world's biggest Weatherspoons!! Good or bad it’s worth a visit.
