About Premier Southsea Marina & Boatyard

Good access to the Solent and close to the shops. The maintenance facilities are also good especially Scott and the team at 1 degree west. For short term visitors, there is a good friendly cafe bar, serving decent pub grub and breakfasts. Above the bar one of the best curry houses in pompey, well worth a go. Situated opposite Hayling Island, with its beautiful sandy beaches, at the tip of Portsea Island, Southsea Marina is popular with deep-sea anglers. Ideal for sailing and motor cruisers, this friendly, working marina offers sheltered berthing and storage, combining luxury facilities with a full-service boatyard. The waters of Portsmouth and Chichester Harbours are on the doorstep, with the eastern Solent and Isle of Wight beyond. Southsea Marina offers in-water berthing for boats up to 17 metres long and plenty of onshore boat storage. With high quality maintenance and haul-out services, you’ll find a wealth of expertise amongst the marina’s friendly team and supporting businesses. The marina is protected by an automatic cill gate, which raises and lowers, giving around six hours of access per tidal cycle with a waiting pontoon next to the marina entrance.
