A working port and fishing harbour but a friendly spot for a private mooring too. Harbour is a useful stopover and accessible at all states of tide with no lock. Reasonable and clean facilities despite their ageing appearance. Nice beaches for dog walking. Town centre a bit light but local Sainsburys superstore in retail park area is good for most needs anyway. Well worth a visit if you prefer a q
