It is an exemplary facility that Haluk Karamanoğlu and his family created, maintains and improves every day, traveling around the world with their boat Deriska in 1988-93.

There is a vault, electricity. water and TV connection is made. Your boat is safely moored in the clean water of Söğüt Bay. In this marinette, which is almost the center of the sailors in the region, there is a market, ice, shower, WC and laundry. It has a wireless connection. Carpenter, electrical and mechanical works are serviced.

Under the pine forests, the facility in the greenery has a restaurant, bar, cafe, fitness center, sauna, tennis court. Marmaris 23 is 100 km from Dalaman Airport. Transfers are made to all airports in Marmaris and the region.

When necessary, fuel needs are met, technical materials are ordered from Marmaris. There is a company that provides cargo service from Marmaris to here.

Port Alesta Marina

Marmaris is a town in Turkey, along the Mediterranean coast in the province of Muğla. Marmaris region belongs to the ancient city of Caria (3400 BC) and every place has the remnants of the ancient cities.

The Pupa Yacht Marina is located 4 miles away from the busy city of Marmaris in a beautiful corner of the bay. The small park next to the hotel and its natural beach with crystal clear sea waters meet with green pine woods with the fragrance of liquidambar trees, the entire environment tempting to take a walk or a swim on the spot. The restaurant / bar in the garden offers a large selection of traditional Turkish meals as well as fresh fish and meat dishes, sometimes prepared on the garden barbecue.

Next to the marina you will find a large parking area, a taxi service available 24 hours a day and a minibus stop (the Turkish dolmuş), where buses leave in 15 minutes intervals starting at 07:00 hrs in the morning until 01:00 hrs at night.

The marina features a floating docking system with mooring lines for up to 30 berths where yachts are tied stern to. The berths are spacious enough to allow berth holders to sail their boats whenever they wish without prior co-ordination with other skippers. Each berth has access to a service box providing fresh water and 220 V / 16 Amp. electricity free of charge. If adaptors should be required, just let our Pupa Yacht Office know.

The Pupa Yacht Office is open 24 hours per day and our staff will handle inquiries and support requests in a timely manner and with care. In case of emergency, please, inform our office immediately, so that adequate measures can be taken. If you should need sea maps, ropes or other pieces of equipment we shall not hesitate to provide those from our own stocks or we will assist you in obtaining them from Marmaris. There is also a boat cleaning service available.

You will always find our staff friendly, approachable and helpful. They are here to look after you and to make sure your holidays is memorable. Our staff at your service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in 3 bases Bodrum, Marmaris and Göcek, where there are offices and spare parts depots. In most of the areas you will be sailing, we have contractors and local technicians, who can have an immediate look at the situation and take care of the necessary arrangements. In case of a more serious nature, or a lack of spare parts, we will immediately send you from one of our main bases the required part, or the services of a skilled technician, who will solve your problem with the least delay to the remainder of your holiday.

SHOWERS AND TOILETS
At present berth holders can use the facilities of the hotel located outside of the buildings. Plans for the construction of a new building with toilets and showers in the vicinity of the pontoon, i.e. close to the moored yachts, have been completed; the new facility will be available shortly.

FUEL AND OIL
The petrol station at the foot of the pontoon provides Diesel, oil and lubrications; on special request also petrol can be obtained in reasonable quantities.

SAFETY
The marina is under continuous control of guards, i.e. 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.

FIRE PRECAUTIONS
Our fire precaution equipment consists of 6 kg, 9 kg and 50 kg halogen and dry powder fire extinguishers. In addition we have installed a Lamborghini pump with a capacity of 30 t of sea water per hour. All in all we feel well equipped in case a fire should break out. Worth mentioning is also that the road leading to the pontoon has been designed in way that fire lorries have easy access to the pontoon and the yachts. In case of fire we strongly advise to immediately inform the Pupa Yacht Office in order to obtain further assistance from the local fire protection force if deemed necessary.

Pupa Yacht Marina

Marmaris Port is surrounded by densely wooded mountains, splitted by ravines with some indentations bordered by pine forest. Marmaris Port lies in a diameter of 2.5 Mile and the depths are 30 m. The port is protected by Nimara (Yıldız) and Keçi Island from southerlies. Nimara Island is a peninsula, it is connected to the mainland with an isthmus called as Yalancı Boğaz.

The bay is connected to open sea by two passages. The passage Büyük Boğaz is 750 m wide and there are 38 m depths in the fairway. There are lights on both shores at the head of the passage.

Both shores are free from any obstacles. There are patches at İnceburun Light. Keep 30 m distance off.  The passage between Keçi Adası and Mehmet Sarı Burnu is called as Küçük Boğaz, it is 465 m wide. An islet, Kargı Adası stands in the middle of the passage. There are sufficient depths (about 38 m) on both sides, and they are free of dangers. This stretch of coast is fully covered by hotels and summer sites. A nice boulevard behind the beach between Marmaris - İçmeler continues for 7 km. The settings are impressive among flowers and pine trees.

Swimming areas are cordoned off with buoys. Boats can be anchored off swimming buoys, paying attention with piers locations ashore.

The main anchorage to be tucked up is on the western side of the port. The bottom is sand-weed and it provides good holding.  Boats swing at anchor in 8 - 14 m. Prevailing wind pushes swell in. Care is needed as this side gets very crowded by tripper boats and they constanly churn in and out. This anchorage becomes untenable when southerlies blow strong, it becomes too bumy. The anchorage on the northern side of Nimera Island affords sheltering from southerlies.

There are number of visiting boats and families winterizing afloat in Marmaris. Marmaris area carries typical Mediterranean climate characteristics- mild and rainy, relatively warm in winter and dry in summer.                                                                            

Marmaris sits on the marvelous natural harbour where Lord Nelson organised his fleet for the attack on the French at Abukir in 1798.

Marmaris is a popular designation for scuba diving.  There are several dive centers in Marmaris that arrange guided diving trips, excursions and even provide diving lessons for the inexperienced individuals, eager to try out this underwater sport.

Atlantis Waterpark is a very popular Marmaris destination for fun-lovers of all ages, with numerous slides, kids pool, wave pool, mini golf, bowling, restaurants, bars and entertainment.

QUAY
This run by the Marmaris Municipality, and it is cheaper to moor here. The shores below the Marmaris Castle on the peninsula are surrounded by quays. All gullets and some foreign and domestic yachts moor along this quay area. At the quay, which has a water depth of 3 - 4 metres, you can get water and power connections. The fuel for bunkering is brought by tankers.
There are 58 sea vaults for easy anchoring.

This marina is a long and windy marina, run by the city of Marmaris, and hosts almost all the charter boats in Marmaris. Private vessels can stay here if there is room. Some of the marina faces restaurants and bars that play music, but not so loud as the music played on "Bar" street, on block inward. No protection from any swells or wind

Approach and Navigation
It is best to approach Marmaris via the channel (Şark Boğazı) between Keçi Adası to the W and Yildiz or Nimara Adası to the E, staying in the middle of the channel.

Warning : There can be very strong gusts in Şark Boğazı when there is a strong southerly wind.

The region of the quay, being on the strolling street, gets very busy in the evening. Behind it there are all types of bars and restaurants.

Marmaris Port is administrated by the municipality and mooring charges are relatively cheaper than the marinas.
Gullets and yachts go stern on quays. There are 3 - 8 m depth on the quays and the depth at the head is 1 - 3 m.
Water and electricity (mono and three phases 220/380V -16/25/32 Amp) connections are available.
Fuel can be obtained from truck-tanker.
Bilge water discharge service is provided.

The former settlements of the city were around the castle. This castle was built in 1522 during Suleyman the Magnificent's journey to conquer Rhodes. The old houses and narrow streets are worth visiting.

MARMARİS MUNICIPALITY QUAY

Fethiye is a city and district of Muğla Province in the Aegean region. Modern day Fethiye is located on the site of the ancient city of Telmessos, the ruins of which can be seen in the city, e.g. the Hellenistic theatre by the main quay. An interesting peculiarity of the ancient city is the fame of its oracles. The oracles of Telmessos, devoted to Apollo, have had great impact on the course of ancient history.

The history of Fethiye, known as Telmessos in the antique period, and the most important city of Lycia -one of the oldest Anatolian Civilisations- reaches far back to 5th century BC.

Fethiye provides all-round shelter except in heavy northerlies. A long quay by the ferry port has berthing capacity up to 120 boats and it is administrated by the municipality. Water and electricty connections are available, fuel can be obtained from a tanker truck. The quay gets crowded by excurison boats and gullets in summer. The settings behind the quay is attractive.

In the city center the quay that extends to the west is owned by the Fethiye Municipality. You can anchor in 10 - 15 meters on the west of the marine. You can anchor on the rowing club on the west end of Fethiye Port. The market and restaurants are very close. There are also many hotels nearby.

The marina is on the west side of Ilica Bay, half a mile south of Kalem Burnu. 

It is in front of the Altınyunus Hotel, one of the most beautiful facilities in Turkey, which was established in 1974. 

It is a small marina, integrated with the hotel structure. The architectural structure combines the hotel and the marina.

It serves 180 boats at sea and 60 boats on land. The marina entrance is at a depth of 5 meters. The starboard side of the entrance is 4 meters, and the depths decrease to 2 meters as you enter. The hotel side docks are for mooring small boats.

In the marina where electricity, water and internet connection are available, the boats are connected by vaults. All waste is taken.

It serves yachtsmen with its fuel station, laundry, scullery, yacht supplies store.

Behind the marina breakwaters, you can easily swim in the summer months and it has a very beautiful water.

Boats up to 60 tons are taken ashore by slipway in the dock area.

Since the Marina is intertwined with the Altınyunus Hotel, it benefits from all the facilities of the hotel. The hotel's shopping center includes shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. There is also a bank ATM.

The marina is 2 kilometers from Ilıca Bus Station, 4 kilometers from Çeşme Bus Station and 95 kilometers from Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport.

It is a marina built in the north-west of Alaçatı Bay, on the south side of the Çeşme Peninsula.

While approaching the marina, it is necessary to pay attention to the shallows in Alaçatı Bay. 

It is very shallow, especially from the west side of this bay, almost to the middle. 

This area is packed with hundreds of windsurfers, especially during the summer months. The marina has determined a navigation route with buoys in order to easily reach the marina among the surfers who are generally concentrated on their work. It is absolutely necessary to comply with these buoys, which are visible enough and allow us to navigate comfortably with colors, at the entrance and exit. 

In addition, there is a ship buoy in the north of the bay. Despite all these signs, it is of great benefit to approach the marina slowly, considering the surfers on your way.

The marina has a capacity of 260 boats at sea and 100 boats on land. 

The maximum depth inside the marina is 3.5 meters. Electricity (220-380 Volt, 50 HZ), water and internet connection are made. All solid waste is taken. It provides service with its market, fuel station, 2 different bank ATMs, and yacht warehouses.

In the marina dock area, a 100-ton overhead crane serves the yachts. In the trailer area; There is a yacht equipment store and technical workshops that serve every need.

Yachters are assisted in customs procedures by the marina management. There are many restaurants, cafes and bars in the marina. 

There is also a boat sales and charter company.

Marina is very close to Alaçatı Town. There are frequent minibus services to Alaçatı. For this reason, all the possibilities of the town are used. Hospitals, pharmacies, banks, big shopping centers are very close.

The marina is 3 kilometers from Alaçatı, 9 kilometers from Çeşme, 78 kilometers from İzmir and 90 kilometers from the International Adnan Menderes Airport. All these transportations are easily made via the Çeşme-İzmir highway.

The marina is next to the world's most important windsurfing areas. 

Alaçatı, which is 3 kilometers away, is one of Turkey's most important tourism centers with its historical value and different architectural structure. 

There is a street market in Alaçatı on Saturdays and it is very beautiful.

It is a marina with a capacity of 250 yachts in Kemer. 2.5 - 5 meters in the marina. Depth is available. Electricity, water and TV service are provided in the marina, which is connected by vaults. Wi-Fi connection is available.

Since Kemer town has no other port to be allocated to commercial boats, these boats are moored in a separate part of the marina. Entrances and exits are separate.

In addition to the 45-ton lift of the marina, its 10-ton carrier also serves the boats. The technical workshops and staff of the marina, which has 125 land parks, assist the yachtsmen in every way.

The marina has a 24-hour fuel station and a waste water intake unit. There are Coast Guard centres, laundry, shopping centre, market, marine supplies store, car rental offices, restaurants in the marina.

A street market is held in the town on Mondays.

Due to its season, location and technical competence, it is also a marina where yachtsmen winter heavily.

There is also a private yacht club building for yachtsmen.

Customs procedures are carried out in Kemer Marina, which is an entry-exit port.

With a 472 berthing capacity, Kaş Marina has a dry storage capacity of 160 boats. The marina has seven floating pontoons and a breakwater and with a convenient water depth will provide mooring facilities for all types of boats, inclusive of super and mega yachts.

There is a large sign on the breakwater warning cruisers that pumping out toilets/holding tanks or even grey water containing detergent from showers/sinks is prohibited both in the harbour and in Kalkan bay and that fines will be imposed for any infraction.

The depth in the inlet is 5 - 8 m. There are a few laid mooring lines where you can pick up. A Coast Guard vessel berths on the inner quay. The coast guard keeps a very nice fast patrol boat in this harbour.

A shelter opposite by Kaş Municipality building, managed by local administration, has mooring capacity up to 20 visiting boats.

MOORING
The harbour master will direct you to a berth, most likely on the breakwater side of the harbour. This harbour is shared with Gullets, some of which are over 150 feet long. The harbour looks quite wide but pay close attention to the anchor chains of the larger moored boats as you work your way in, there is not a lot of room to manoeuvre with chains out on both sides of the harbour.

Anchor out and stern tie. Try not to put out too much chain, to avoid catching it on the anchors of boats on the other side of the harbour.

Setur Antalya Marina, which opened in 1991, is conveniently situated inside the Antalya Commercial Harbour, behind a massive breakwater, providing excellent protection against all weather conditions. The marina is located 30 km from Antalya International Airport and just 10 km from Antalya city centre. It has everything a city marina should have, including a peaceful,safe and fun environment for its guests.

The marina can accommodate 235 yachts on sea and 150 on land, for a total of 385. The depth in the marina is 4 to 6 meters. During the summer season, many mega yachts,up to 90 meters,are served at the mega yacht pier.

It is the marina inside the city of Çanakkale, located on the eastern side of the Dardanelles Strait. 

Located just north of the ferry and ferry port.

The municipality operates the marina with 180 yacht mooring capacity (Contact: 0286-214 26 83)

The marina, which is connected by a vault, has electricity, water, WC and showers. Ice and bottled gas are available.

In Çanakkale, which is a sea city, yacht equipment and technical facilities are available.

Since the marina is right in the middle of the city, it takes advantage of all the city's facilities. Hospitals, pharmacies, large shopping centers, transportation facilities are sufficient.

Canakkale Marina

Gelibolu, also known as Gallipoli "beautiful city"), is the name of a town and a district in Çanakkale Province of the Marmara region, located in Eastern Thrace in the European part of Turkey on the southern shore of the peninsula named after it on the Dardanelles strait, 2 miles away from Lapseki on the other shore. The port of Gelibolu lies on the N shore of the Dardanelles, 3 miles W of the entrance to the Sea of Marmara.  Gelibolu is well known for sardine canning.

HARBOUR
It is inland shelter. Water area is 850 m2.

Anchorages
There are two possible berthing areas for yachts. The eastern corner of the commercial harbour is one, and just inside the fishing harbour is the other. In each case care should be taken with the depths. There is good shelter from the wind in both harbours. It is also possible to anchor to the east of the harbour. There is good holding in the sand and shelter from the prevailing wind.

The northern side of the commercial harbour has now been dredged but there are no mooring facilities on the quay. The fishing harbour has also been dredged and it is possible to berth bows-to in front of the restaurant. This is a busy harbour and care needs to be taken to avoid the many ferries and fishing boats.

It is possible in settled weather to anchor close inshore just W of the harbour. However, this should only be attempted in settled weather as it is a very uncomfortable spot in even moderate winds.

Gelibolu, which used to be a useful port of call for yachts transiting the straits, is now closed to yachts since the opening of the harbour of Lapseki on the southern shore directly opposite.
Yachts are forbidden to moor at Gelibolu harbour.

Amasra is a small Black Sea port town in the Bartın Province. The town is today much appreciated for its beaches and natural setting, which has made tourism the most important activity for its inhabitants. Amasra has two islands : the bigger one is called Büyük ada (Great Island) while the smaller one is called Tavşan adası (Rabbit Island).

For centuries there have been two bays and two islands that have welcomed mariners from across the seas. Amasra is a pretty little town off by itself, set on a fortified promontory jutting northward into the Black Sea.

Amasra is mostly a fishing town. The townspeople for centuries have always loved the sea and fish and the town has been a favored port in the stormy Black Sea. The fishermen, yacht sailors, several boats have remained at port awaiting the end of the storm and during the severe winter months the houses of Amasra have harbored fishermen for whole six-month seasons as they awaited the coming of spring.

Situated on a peninsula and the island joined to it by an Isthmus, Amasra's geographical  features are not readily apparent to first-time visitors. On one side of the peninsula is the Little Harbor and on the other the Big Harbor, a port sheltered by a breakwater that protects it from the Black Sea's destructive waves.  The promontory at the tip of the peninsula is encircled by high Genoese-period defense walls, whose walls are laced with marble fragments left from previous civilizations.

Approaching
Amasra can be easily seen from all directions. It is an ancient harbour which has two parts. W side is too exposed, so large commercial harbour at E side should be used. While approaching from W, you should avoid rocks of a small island located at the entrance. After the island, it is a straightforward approach.

Alongside or stern to in the NW corner of the harbour. Or anchor out in the SW corner. Amasra is a busy harbour with fishing and tour boats. Incoming swell may cause unpleasant surge in the harbour. Therefore, it is advised to anchor. Harbour provides good all around shelter except heavy NE winds.
