About marina Twellegea
Marina Twellegea In the picturesque and quiet Nieuwendam in Amsterdam-North, you will find the pleasant Marina Twellegea. The harbor is sheltered behind the IJ, near the Sixhaven and in the smallest polder in the Netherlands, the Sint Bernarduspolder. The location of this harbor is unique, situated on the Dijk with a large terrace in front of the door. Our new restaurant will open from season 2021, and you can enjoy a drink and snack here. You can also rent bicycles from us to explore the area. You can reach the north-south line that takes you to the heart of Amsterdam within 15 minutes by bike or bus. In short, this port has both words, in the village of Nieuwendam, but very close to the city. The location on the chic Nieuwendammerdijk with various wooden Waterland captain's houses is special and definitely worth a visit. The harbor is suitable for sloops, as well as for larger (sailing) boats. If you come by car, you and possibly your guests can park for free in the harbor area. In the Twellegea Marina there is a crane with a capacity of up to 25 tons. You can put your boat on the side in this harbor and carry out maintenance on it. Winter storage (outside or covered) on the side is also possible.
