About PUERTO DE TARIFA
The Port of Tarifa is a commercial harbour for fishing and passenger boats, located in the Andalusian town of Tarifa. Managed by the Port Authority of Algeciras, it is the closest European port to North Africa and sits on the main shipping route to Tangier in Morocco and Ceuta. Its official UN/Locode is ESTRF. In addition to commercial and fishing activities, the Port of Tarifa has been characterized by its nautical-sports activity, reserving docks No. 1, 2 and 3 for the precarious development of this activity.
