Located in Punggol on Singapore’s north-eastern shore, the country club is open to the public and since the waters are pretty calm year-round, one of the headline attractions at Marina Country Club is wakeboarding. It’s the largest wakeboarding hub in Singapore, most of the instructors are past champions and lessons cost around S$130 per hour but that includes boat hire, equipment and instructor (usually the boat driver). Most people learn to stand after only one lesson and it’s a real adrenaline rush! You can also go water-skiing and take an unforgettable diving trip as well as go out deep-sea fishing. For a calmer pace of life, the sunset cruise will be one of the most relaxing things you’ll ever do. There’s loads of stuff to do for kids and the food choices include a charcoal seafood restaurant, two pubs with karaoke, a Thai restaurant and a popular satay stall. You can take a walk around the marina and see the incredible boats as well as strolling through the dry dock to watch the craftsmen working on them but whatever you decide to do, you’ll have a ball doing it!
