Located in the safest bar in the country, in the wide estuary of the Rio Arade, it extends over an area of about 25 ha, framed by the forts of Santa Catarina and S. The Marina has deep waters that allow you to enter and leave it, at any tide, wide entry and spacious maneuvering areas, sheltered from the prevailing winds.

Still in the sporting sphere and with a high impact social character, we continue to support the Vela Solidária Project, encompassing its adapted sailing aspect, gaining more and more participants and forming champions.
In 2019, Marina de Portimão received the Clipper Round the World fleet, at the first stopover of the Round the World Odyssey that the 11 sailboats are carrying out until August 2020, as well as the National and European Championships Hansa, adapted sailing modality , with the participation of more than 120 sailors and a hundred boats.
The Portimão Marina Shipyard Center, located on the right bank of the River Arade, is close enough to serve you, without the hassles and pollution associated with this service. With the capacity to hoist large vessels (up to 300 tons) and catamarans up to 9 meters wide, the Portimão Marina shipyard offers a wide range of quality specialized services.
