About Whangamata Marina
Situated inside the Whangamata harbour, in a very sheltered and secure location, the marina provides unparalleled access to wonderful offshore game fishing and recreational fishing and cruising grounds triangulated by Mayor Island, The Alderman Islands and Slipper Island to the North. Protected by a solid rock breakwater on three sides, the 209 berths range from 10.5m to 20m in length. Our berths are designed with full length fingers; two intermediate piles; generous fairways; power and water supply via individual power modules. There is a 24 hour fuel jetty supplying Gull diesel sewage pump-out facilities; evening security patrols; and plenty of free car parking for berth owners and visitors. A friendly, professional management team operates out of the Marina Office, providing management, information, maintenance and security services to the berths and marina facilities. All enquiries are welcome by visiting the team at the Marina Office.
