Katakolo Port

Katakolo is a charming small port located in Pyrgos, the capital of Elia in the Southern Peloponnese. Despite its modest size, it plays a significant role in regional trade, having been established in 1857 for commercial purposes. The port is also the most popular gateway for travelers visiting the Ancient Olympia complex, which includes temples, priests’ dwellings, and public buildings.
