About Port du Brusc
Le Brusc is a hamlet within the town of Six-Fours-les-Plages. The port is situated on its northern coast, in a natural shelter protected from southerly winds by the island of Embiez and from easterly winds by the mountain. The port offers a total of 863 berths, including 333 designated for visitors. There is also one 18-meter berth available by special dispensation. The slipway at the nautical base is fee-paying from May 2 to September 15 and free during the rest of the year. The speed limit in the port area is 3 knots. Le Brusc port is directly managed by Toulon Provence Méditerranée. It is protected from disturbances by a 100-meter-long dock and a 160-meter-long breakwater, bounded to the north by the Prud'homie dock and to the southeast by the Saint-Pierre dock. A 30-meter-long quay on the latter accommodates passenger and cargo boats serving the island of Embiez. The bathymetry of the port shows shallow depths throughout the southern part of the harbour. The deepest part of the water corresponds to the navigation channel for the transport shuttles to the island of Embiez, with a maximum water height of about 4 meters. Brusc serves as both a recreational and fishing port and currently has most of its moorings on anchor. Ongoing infrastructure renovations will allow for progress towards dockside moorings.
