The Marina is now classed as an official new Port of Entry to Egypt and has accordingly become the first gateway to Egypt for yachtsmen sailing from the south Red Sea to the Mediterranean. Situated at only 5 kilometers from the Marsa Alam International Airport (MAIA),the marina offers unlimited options for yachtsmen sailing the Red Sea, either north-bound or south-bound, to plan their own itineraries for international trips, local trips to Cairo and to the touristic sites of Upper Egypt. WELCOME TO Abu Tig Marina Abu Tig Marina is a unique and exciting project on the Red Sea coast of Egypt. The marina town was designed by the Italian architect Alfredo Freda and the basin by Sogreah Ingenerie, France.
