Hvalpsund Marina The marina is a municipal port located in the Vesthimmerland municipality in Lounshalvøen, where the waters between Himmerland and Salling are smaller. The port is affiliated with the Freeport Scheme. There are about 175 places that you rent one year at a time, however you have priority for a spot the following year. The yacht club and its areas have been continuously renovated over the last few years with new bridges and electric poles everywhere. Thisted Sailing Club has a FREE, powerful and working wireless internet connection, several good barbecue areas and a small playground.
