About Erma Henderson Marina
The marina occupies 15 acres along the Detroit River and is convenient to all of downtowns attractions. The marina underwent a $6 million renovation project that began in March 2000 which upgraded the facility to a modernistic marina. It is celebrated for encouraging diversity within the city of Detroit during a time of economic growth. In addition to our leading edge amenities, the marina offers its members a fantastic location for Detroit’s famous on the river summertime events including the Freedom Festival Fireworks, Hydroplane and Boat races, Riverfront concerts, Belle Isle state park, Chene Park and Hart Plaza.
