About Delta Marina

The Delta Marina was founded in 1964 as one of the first commercial Dutch marinas on the banks of the Veerse Meer, a stone's throw from the Katse Veersluis to the Oosterschelde, and has since developed into a modern marina with many facilities. 4 modern sanitary blocks, 2 restaurants, a large Service Center and Volvo Penta Dealership, a 16-ton crane and winter storage, 2 playgrounds and a small outdoor area with chickens and rabbits for children. Located on the Dutch Flemish coast and on the border with Flanders, it is the most ideal base for sailing trips to and from France, the Flemish interior and the Dutch Delta area.The port offers 580 permanent berths and 100 visitor berths, it is a popular port for both sailors and motor yachts with excellent facilities. Tidal Flow & Currents Location: Marina Breskens is located on the southern bank of the Westerschelde estuary, near the mouth of the North Sea. Tidal Range: Approximately 4.0 to 4.5 meters (spring tides) Tidal Type: Semi-diurnal (two high and two low tides per day) Current Speed: Flood (incoming tide): 2–3 knots Ebb (outgoing tide): 3–4.5 knots Flow Direction: Flood flows eastward into the estuary Ebb flows westward toward the North Sea Important: Strong cross-currents can occur at the marina entrance, especially during peak ebb. Entry Timing Advice Ideal time to enter/leave: Around slack water (just before or after high/low tide) Entry is possible at all states of tide, but maneuvering is much easier during slack or early flood. Avoid arrival during peak ebb if you have limited engine power or a beamier boat (catamarans, for example). Manoeuvrability in the Marina Marina Layout Entrance is just inside the main harbour (facing NW). Protective breakwaters and a well-defined channel guide you in. Floating pontoons with long fairways and finger pontoons. Visitor berths generally located on the first pontoons to starboard upon entry. We are members of Hiswa and have flown the Blue Flag every year since 2001. The marina has capacity for approximately 270 permanent berths. In the port building, there is a water sports shop, the port office and tidy sanitary facilities for yacht owners. At the top of the port building there are 2 spacious apartments. These can be rented for recreational use. At the marina there is a large outdoor area with 3 sheds. The site and sheds are used for winter storage. Each year, space is offered here for about 270 yachts.

Vereniging de Zandkreek has existed for 60 years and is located in Wolphaartsdijk, the center of water sports in Zeeland. Since 1973, the local water sports association, WSVE (Ellewoutsdijk Water Sports Association) has been in charge of operating the original agricultural harbor located in South Beveland. Jachthaven W.S.V. 't Sas

The WSV t' Sas marina is located on the Ghent-Terneuzen canal, close to the Belgian border. The pleasant center of Sas van Gent is within walking distance. The port consists of a northern part and a southern part that is divided by the Oostpoortweg. Along the canal you can sail south to Belgian places like Zelzate and Ghent. To the north you will find Terneuzen and the Western Scheldt. The club port has a total of about 150 berths. The depth of the port (and the entrance) is 10 meters. As a passerby, you are very welcome in one of the ports. The facilities include sanitary facilities, water and electricity on the pontoons, combi pump for oil and waste water. In addition, there is a campsite, a swimming pool nearby, as well as various dining and shopping facilities.

Located at Tweede Binnenhavenweg, 4382 ZH Vlissingen, Netherlands Association for Boat Fishermen Western Scheldt and surroundings The association aims to represent the interests of anglers who use their own boats to search for fish. The letters VBC stand for Vis Boot Club (Fish Boat Club). VBC Deurloo explicitly does not want to compete with other marinas and other harbors in the region. Our mission is to offer our members good, usable, and safe facilities at a reasonable price. We try to achieve this by, among other things, having our members carry out as much of the work on our jetties and accommodations as possible themselves. We also help each other out when necessary with problems, for example, with the boat. This is good for your wallet and for building relationships! (Although good spots are only shared sparingly, but a true fisherman will understand this.) We are therefore primarily looking for new members who not only ask what the association can offer them, but also what they can and want to offer the association.
