The harbor is also within walking distance of the Jordaan and one of the nicest shopping streets in the Netherlands: the Haarlemmerdijk. Marina Westerdok is suitable for all types of boats and is located next to a restaurant with a beautiful terrace, overlooking the water. Where you are of course welcome for a drink. There is also a camera-monitored harbor at Marina Westerdok. Although it is in the heart of Amsterdam, Bickerseiland is remarkably quiet. A cosy, historic and village-like residential area in the bustling city center.
