Hout Bay Yacht Club

Nice small yacht club with room for international boats. Good showers in club house across the street, with a bar and weekly brais and theme parties. Good security. Peaceful location. Convenient to walk to Spars, Woolworths,, Checkers and Pick&Pay. Seals everywhere, as well as clawless otters starting in about late March, and even an occasional penguin. Strong SE winds up til about March can stress docklines. Heaven after March as wind comes more from the North and NW. Docks in good condition, well maintained. Better rates than in Cape Town.
