About Kipparilahden venekerho

Kipparilahti Boat Club KVK ry, located in Herttoniemi, Helsinki, started operations in 1969. At that time, the city built a marina with piers at the bottom of Kipparlahti. By then, the port was considered one of the best in Helsinki. The piers are fixed concrete piers with space for 130 boats and the club has managed the port since its inception. The club has a clubhouse in the harbor, a storage room, a barbecue shed and a mast for sailboats. The club area is fenced. The docks have electrical outlets for temporary use. The harbor and the piers also have summer water. The club owns more than 3 acres of property on the island with buildings.
