About Barrack Street jetty / Elizabeth quay
Barrack Street Jetty is located on the edge of Perth Water on the Swan River in Perth, Western Australia. Boat Moorings The Elizabeth Quay inlet is home to twenty-four short stay boat moorings for public use. Recreational boaties can cruise into Elizabeth Quay and park in one of the 24 short stay boat moorings, which are available for public use. To enter the inlet, recreational boats must be able to pass under the pedestrian and cyclist bridge. The bridge provides a clearance of 4.5m off the water which will allow most 12m and 10m boats with a flybridge into the inlet at all stages of the tide. The moorings will initially be available to the public for stays of three hours or less. Visitors should be aware that the availability of the short stay berths may be affected by water based events. Ten new swing moorings have been installed just outside the inlet opening to accommodate larger vessels. Swimming is not permitted within the inlet due to the high level of water vehicle traffic at the quay. For more information on recreational boating in Perth waters visit the Department of Transport.
