Pillar Point Harbor

Pillar Point Harbor does not have guest docks. If there are any open slips in the harbor, the Harbormaster's office/staff will fill them with visiting boaters. We do not take reservations. First come first served basis. You can reach the Pillar Point Harbourmaster's office when you get within the outer entrance buoys on the phone 650-726-4382 or on VHF channel 16 or our working channel 74. Pillar Point Harbor does have great anchorage in the outer harbor on the west side. There is no water taxi service. There are also mooring balls available on a first come, first served basis. They are laid out in a grid pattern in front of the yacht club and the centre inner break wall. Again, no water taxi service. Slip availability has been problematic with salmon season and squid seasons. Pillar Point Harbor has been running at 100%+ occupancy, with a 2-3 year wait list for slips. Fourth of July week and other holiday weekends can be very busy, so be prepared to anchor out and bring a skiff.
