About Club Nautic Port D'Aro
The Port d'Aro Nautical Club has been established since June 30, 1984, although it was not on this date that the concern of this foundation was born. Nautical activities have long been normal for the Club's founders since 1979. This initial spirit would bring together a small group of people, neighbors here and there, with a common idea: "THE SEA". Since its foundation, the Club has demonstrated both locally and nationally the organizational capacity for all types of light sailing and cruising regattas with international sailors such as José María Doreste, Olympic medalist in 1988, Manuel Doreste, champion of the World in 1994, Laia Tutzó, world champion in 2002, Ricard Alsina, who in charge of his boat LONE-BMW and before with GOLDEN'S GER participated in the Copa del Rey since 1988, among others.
