Puerto de Zierbena - Bilbao

The proximity of the port of Bilbao has led to various renovations, currently hosting not only fishing boats and recreational vessels but also the Pañol building that serves the boats, as well as the sports facilities of the local rowing club. There is a small artificial beach 100 meters long. It has various services and facilities in summer, such as showers and lifeguards. It is a beach frequented by families, given the tranquillity of its waters and the proximity to the renowned bars and restaurants of the port. On the other hand, the port is now an important recreational space for both the residents of Zierbena and the numerous visitors it receives. This is due to its wide gastronomic offering based on traditional fish and seafood cuisine and the various attractive leisure and cultural activities there, such as the seafood fair.
