Port Al-Wakrah

Al Wakrah Harbor is just one of many enchanting places in Qatar that exemplifies tranquility at its best. It seems so amazing to be walking around the port while admiring the blue ocean. Al Wakrah has a long history as a fishing community. Here you can see the fishing boats that are moored in the port and those that are traveling the seas in search of fish to feed the people. The port offers all the amenities required by fishermen and cruise ship and boat owners, including parking spaces that can accommodate vessels of various sizes. These include docks that are afloat and have access to water, power, and lighting. These are in addition to service facilities and navigation aids that follow the latest systems and standards from around the world. For the benefit of fishermen and other seafarers, there are CCTV camera and firefighting systems, boat landing ramps, fuel service stations, and administrative offices.
