About Albany Emu Point Boat Harbour

The Emu Point Boat Harbour is located 9 kilometres from the centre of Albany in Oyster Harbour and 418 kilometres southeast of Perth, in the Great Southern region. Fishing is one of the main local industries, and the Port of Albany is a major commercial operation. There are numerous beaches, with powerful and sometimes dangerous waves. There are also a number of dive wrecks to explore, including the HMAS Perth. The boat harbour has 50 commercial and recreational boat pens, four jetties, a three-lane boat ramp, and fish cleaning facilities. There are also 60 recreational pens operated by the City of Albany. Boating facility fees Fees are payable for the use of maritime facilities throughout the state.
