About Forster Marina
Wallis Lake is an iconic landmark that comes alive during the summer months, attracting boaters, fishers, paddlers, and swimmers, along with the dolphins, rays, and turtles that call this lake home. The shores of Breckenridge Channel in Forster are dotted with boatsheds, making it a perfect spot to gather some friends and paddle the lake on a stand-up paddleboard, kayak, or hire a boat to explore Wallis Lake's many islands. For a unique experience, you can even hire luxury houseboats where you can drop anchor after a day of exploring and sleep on the water. Wallis Lake is famous for providing some of the tastiest fish and seafood in the country. It is the biggest producer of Sydney Rock Oysters in the state. Generational oyster farmers point to the lake's unique environment, creating the perfect conditions to grow juicy and plump SR Oysters. Surrounded by Wallingat National Park to the west and Booti Booti National Park to the east, the pristine waters of Wallis Lake are fed by the Wallamba River, Coolongolook River, and Pipers Creek. The lake is approximately 25 kilometers long and nine kilometers wide. Casual boat mooring with power and water available. Secure marina with gates and security cameras. Maximum boat size is 7m length and 2.4m width.
