Excellent service. Berthing master greets you on VHF 68 and directs you to a berth. Some pontoon not directly connected to land bur a harbour taxi service operates. Excellent shoreside facilities and good restaurants. On western side across bridge over river Yar is a picnic area. Great trip idea is an open top bus to the Needles battery or stop at Alum Bay with chair lift to the beach. Restaurants and Pubs and welcome at Royal Solent YCV with the best views over the Solent.
